A great all around open-water crankbait rod designed to throw medium-sized crankbaits of all styles… shallow runners, lipless cranks and deep-divers. It’s an excellent choice for deep-diving lures like the 3/8 ounce Fat Free Shads, Deep Little N’s and Wiggle Warts, especially where accuracy is more important than distance. It works well in close quarters due to the shorter length. It loads easily, is extremely lightweight and has more than enough power to handle big fish. A really good choice for fishing Rat-L-Traps and 3/8 ounce LVR’s.

A slightly longer, light-duty rod designed to throw small to medium-sized crankbaits where extra distance is a factor. A 7’ one-piece rod designed to throw medium-sized crankbaits. The extra length makes this rod a great choice for extra-deep diving crankbaits and larger lipless, vibrating lures. It’s especially effective when you’re fishing large flats where you need to locate fish because you can cover so much water. It can handle a variety of crankbaits. We’ve upgraded the line and lure rating because the extra length is all added in the butt-section which makes it a bit more powerful. This rod was designed specifically for “ripping” lipless crankbaits in grass. It has more length to give you better casting range and lure control, but it’s still very light weight and powerful.
